In view to have acquaintance with the rapid technological advancement in the field of engineering & technology it is necessary to bridge the gap between the Industrial expectations & Educational Institutes. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Aircraft Division, Nasik took the first step on a long journey to impart Industrial training to Academics in the field of technology, Lean management & Quality along with visit to Aircraft Assembly Lines, CNC shops, Laboratories and Machine complex. The aim of the Industrial training by HAL was to pass the technical & practical knowledge by various eminent & experienced members of HAL. The professors have gained through the knowledge about, expectations from industries based on which they can now modify their learning processes .The Technological development in the different branches of engineering could be seen in the training programmes conducted which will definitely play a pivotal role in the process of education. The training organised by HAL provided a platform to share their innovative ideas .The training with multi component activities gave exposure to all the participants from various Engineering & Polytechnique all over Maharashtra, which will help understand the potential of Industrial field and then set a proper career path for the students. This was a step ahead by HAL in the direction of long march for Quest for excellence which was very well appreciated by the participants and expected to have many more programmes & interactions in future.
